Timetable – Eira Add-on offers
May-June: We contact vendors to let them know that we are interested in their product
August 15th: Last date for vendors to submit the ”Add-on” quote to Eira
September-November: If we agree on pricing the offer is distributed to the Eira regions.
”Add-on” quotes
If the demand for a product in Eira is unclear or not perceived as high, we might ask you for an ”Eira Add-on”
offer (optional product, order through vendor). If we agree on pricing we will distribute the offer to the Eira
regions.
For an ”Eira Add-on” offer to be accepted it needs to contain
• pricing distributed by traditional Eira tier (S-XL)
• pricing that is not conditioned on a minimum number of subscribing regions (meaning there
can be no condition such as "This quote is only valid if X number of regions subscribe")
• the offer can include discounts in case a certain number of regions subscribe, but Inera will
not coordinate Add-on orders so you as a vendor need to keep track of these discounts
Please note, we prefer multi year pricing, with Opt-in and Opt-out option for all members each year.
An ”Eira Add-on” offer does not need to be supplemented with a filled in "Eira standards and principles"
form.
About ”Eira Add-on” products
• Pricing distributed by traditional Eira tier (S-XL)
• Optional for regions to subscribe
• Eira regions order directly from you
• Participating regions sign license agreements directly with you
• You invoice the regions directly
• Inera does not coordinate support issues for subscribing Eira regions
• Inera does not update link resolvers to make content available in subscribing regions
• Inera does not compile usage statistics for Eira member
